DEV DEEPAWALI OF VARANASI
A very world famous festival celebrated
specifically at the Ghats of Varanasi on the
banks of river Ganga
Akashdeeps one of the special
things that happens during
Dev Deepawali
enormous amount of lighting is
witnessed during the occasion.
It is believed that Gods themselves visit on Dev Deepawali so all the preparation 
is done to welcome them on the sacred land of temples and ghats.

Deepawali

considered as one of
the very impoartant
events here in
Varanasi
a huge amount of people come here from neighboring villages to witness this festival.The crowd starts growing after evening and sometimes it becomes very difficult to get out of there.A large number
of people from southern India can be seen here on this occasion.

Travelling on a local train.

It was nearly when the train arrived,entire station was crowded,people with their boxes of tomatoes and bags of potatoes and cauliflower were all ready to launch themselves as soon as the train stops.When the train arrived there was a huge commotion.People doing everything to get inside it and everything to get out of it.They were kind of stuck.                  When you enter in the compartment you will feel like being a king of somewhere,walking over the crunchy skin of peanuts making a crackling sound giving a pseudo feel of the arrival of 'Maharaja' of some whatever State.                       Okay after all the bags,cycles,boxes and people are loaded the train moves. Amarnath Pilgrim Attack in J&K

It was really tragic that a bus full of pilgrims returning after their pilgrimage to the Amarnath, were attacked and as per the report nearly seven people have died. And twelve people were injured. The attack is being condemned from all national and international authorities. This has created other scenario in the Indian politics. The attack was on the bus filled with pilgrims from Gujarat, so they are being linked, kond of giving flares to the old wounds, which is tragic.
