INDIA-No country for the farmers!!

INDIA-No country for the farmers!!

Nearly 65% of the population is indulged in farming or more specifically Agriculture. Means the country has nearly 65% farmers and only 35% are included in other occupations.
But the country’s economy is ruled and decided by this 35% group which includes various activities like Industrialization, commerce and trade, entertainment business, services, etc. The sensex of the country is affected by the activities of this 35% and it decides the direction of the trade.
The rest 65%’s condition is pathetic in our country.
WHY??

Let us ANALYZE.
In the process of farming, the farmer has a piece of and on this piece of and he grows the crops and the process of farming is tedious in itself.  The Farmer buys quality seeds to be grown in the field from the market. He tills the land , ploughs it and makes it ready for the sowing purpose. Seeds are soaked in the water overnight then they are put into one part of the fields to be grown in small saplings. Which are planted in the main field after a time of nearly ten days. They regularly irrigated given fertilizers and insecticides and harvested in the harvesting period.
When farmer sells his this product in the market then he pays his debts and loans which he has  taken from the moneylenders and the banks.
But the farmers are not able to fulfill their debts and loans on time. Banks pressurizes them to pay the loans back as it is their duty and they need the money back because that money is also of the public.
Finding no ways to pay the debts the farmers are Committing SUICIDES IN INDIA.
The question is - up to how many days and the years this will continue?
The CENTER in its report to the Supreme Court said that nearly 12,000 farmers are committing suicides every year since 2013.
The Statistics given by the Center states that –“ A total of 12,602 persons involved in farming sector-8,007 farmers-cultivators and 4,595 agricultural labourers-committed suicide during 2015, accounting for 9.5% of the total suicide victims in the country.”
Maharashtra topped the list with 4,219 suicides, followed by Karnataka with 1,569, Telangana 1,400, Madhya Pradesh 1,290, Chattisgarh 954, Andhra Pradesh 916 and Tamil Nadu 606.
Every year this number is increasing. Farmers need social and financial security and for this government needs to take some solid steps in this direction.

Banks can exempt them from paying the loans once or twice not every year.
